Patrik Schick was, without doubt, one of the stars of the past Euros where he represented the Czech Republic. The striker netted a total of five goals in five matches, his team got knocked in the quarter-finals and he was the joint top scorer together with Cristiano Ronaldo.
He has also shown good form for his club. In his second season at Bayer Leverkusen, he has scored 16 goals and given an assist in 18 matches. Schick has started 15 of those games.
That outstanding form has led to him being on the agenda of top European clubs. One of those interested is West Ham, who are once again having a great Premier League campaign. They are currently fifth and they are willing to pay a fortune for the Czech.
'The Daily Mirror' reports that the Hammers are willing to fork out around 40 million pounds, an amount which could well interest Leverkusen a lot.
