West Ham's good season last term has not gone unnoticed in Europe. Reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League as well as having a more than decent Premier League season has led to many of their players being on European clubs' radar.
Central defender Issa Diop is one of those. He arrived in London from Toulouse four seasons ago. Since then, he has always been an important member of the squad. In the last season, he made a total of 26 appearances in which he scored a goal and gave two assists.
These figures, together with his youth (25 years old), have led to several teams knocking on his door. The latest to do is Fulham, who are back in the Premier League. 'L'Equipe' reports that they put in an attractive offer.
It was 15 million pounds, to be precise. Despite the fact his contract expires in summer 2023, the Hammers have rejected the offer as they either want to keep him or get more money for him.
