Villarreal confirmed on Tuesday the absences of two important footballers in Unai Emery's team: Gerard Moreno and Manu Trigueros. Both will be unavailable against Sevilla.
According to local media outlet 'Castellon Plaza', it is estimated they will be out for around three weeks. Nevertheless, Moreno's previous issues with injuries of this type mean the club do not want to rush the striker back into action. Moreno will only return when the player feels right.
"Gerard Moreno suffered muscle damage in his left hamstring during Sunday's match against Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin stadium," the club said in an official statement.
Likewise, Villarreal also confirmed the absence of Manu Trigueros: "The midfielder suffered muscle damage to the his right quadriceps during the European clash against Lech Poznan at the Ciutat de Valencia last Thursday."
