Since the announcement of Marcos Reus' retirement, the player has received many farewell messages as well as a farewell from the fans at the Signal Iduna Park in his last game for Borussia Dortmund before hanging up his boots.

Erling Haaland, who was a former team-mate of the German player when he played for the German team, has joined this wave of messages. "I'm really proud and honoured to have been playing together with you for two and a half years at a fantastic club like Dortmund".

Reus looks set to end his playing career in the MLS according to rumours, Haaland wished him good luck in his next move. "I just want to wish you good luck for you and your family".
