Tottenham announced the arrival of young Argentinian striker Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central on Tuesday afteroon. The 19-year-old has signed a six-year contract with the English club.
The young striker gave his first words as a new Spurs player: "Being here feels like I'm touching the sky with my hands. The truth is that when I found out everything, all this that was happening, that the club were interested in me, I couldn't believe it, I didn't realize what was happenning until I got here.
"I am really looking forward to it. I am 100% involved here, thank God I have a family that accompanies me and that is always with me and the truth is that this is a dream come true for me, to arrive to such a big club and I will take advantage of it in the best way," added the player.
On whether he found the decision to join Pochettino's team a difficult one, he said: "I didn't hesitate, I told my family and they were 100% determined with me, so well, it's going to be hard for me to adapt, maybe a little, but thank God I have Gio (Lo Celso) or some of the guys who already gave me confidence and who are going to support me," concluded the former Rosario central man.
