Adrien Rabiot comes to the end of his contract with Juventus at the end of June, and is looking for a change of scene, as reports say talks to renew have fallen through. The French international has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but Juventus might have been holding back without a replacement.
Now, according to 'Mirror' it looks like they are heading in the right direction. The outlet reports that the Serie A side are closing in on an agreement with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, after it was announced the London side would hear offers for the Ghanaian international.
This is good news for United, who are looking to boost their midfield this summer, and have returned to Rabiot. The Red Devils reportedly struck a deal last year to sign the Frenchman, worth £15.2 million, but the deal broke down. Now, without transfer fees complicating the matter, it looks like it may be successful.
'Calciomercato' reports that Rabiot's likely departure has fuelled his club's interest in Partey. The Italians would have liked Rabiot to stay, after a stellar season saw him score 11 goals and provide five assists in 48 appearances, but it looks like the Frenchman has other plans.
