Chelsea are plagued by injuries. Wesley Fofana, Armando Broja, Benoit Badiashile, Christopher Nkunku, Trevo Chalobah, Reece James and Carney Chukwuemeka are out of action due to injuries.
However, the injury list continues to grow. Romeo Lavia, who has yet to feature in Chelsea colours since joining from Southampton, reportedly injured his ankle in a training session on Friday, according to reports in England.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke about his form in the post-match press conference following the 3-0 victory over Luton Town when asked when he would make his debut.
"He needs a few weeks to be ready to be involved with the team. He is working to try and catch his teammates. For Romeo we need to wait a few weeks," Pochettino told reporters.
The Blues have not yet confirmed his injury but are expected to do so in the next few hours.
