Brian Brobbey, Ghanaian, but with Dutch nationality, is improving at a rapid rate at Ajax. He is now in the second tier of Dutch football and threatens to soon reach the first team.
This season, he has scored seven goals in 15 appearances in all competitions and media outlets report that Real Madrid want him to come in January to strengthen Raul's B team.
Negotiations are apparently going well. Real Madrid want a loan deal until the end of the season which include an option to buy him in the summer.
Real Madrid's aim is to improve their B team to try and gain promotion to Segunda. They will definitely be stronger with Brobbey: he is a true '9', a spectacular goalscorer's instinct and a strong physical presence.
But time is running out for Real Madrid and Ajax will not make it easy for one of their most valuable young players. Brobbey, in addition, has gone through the age group categories of the Dutch national team.
Brobbey is the youngest of four brothers (Kevin Luckassen, Derrick Lauckassen and Samuel Brobbey), all of them are professional footballer. He has won the 2018 and 2019 UEFA U17 European Championships with Holland.
