Last week Luke Williams visited Swindon College and spoke to more than 100 students about the important elements to success, including; respect, team work, attendance and work ethics. He gave examples of how he and the coaching staff at Swindon Town have used these qualities to succeed.
Steven Woodward the Curriculum Area Manager decided that these sessions would be important for the students.
Woodward told the Swindon Advertiser, “It’s been really good for the students. Luke and the other coaches have been using their experiences to get important lessons across to the students."
“It’s an important message they are giving and shows the good work the club does in the community. At least 130 students, doing all different courses have come so it has been a really successful event.”
