Gialuigi Donnarumma joins the long list of PSG players who have been robbed. Last night, a group of thieves broke into his Paris home and assaulted him and his wife.
According to 'Actu 17', the criminals forced the door of the house (located in one of the best areas of the city) and attacked both of them. The two were tied up during the assault to prevent them from moving. The individuals subsequently left with a loot of approximately 500,000 euros.
The couple took shelter in a hotel near their home and were then taken to hospital. The Italian goalkeeper suffered minor injuries while his partner, Alessia Elefante, was in a state of shock.
Despite the whole situation, Donnarumma will travel with Paris Saint-Germain to Japan for pre-season matches. It is not the first time that a PSG player has been robbed at home. Others such as Di Maria, Sergio Rico, Icardi, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Kimpembe and Choupo-Moting have also been robbed.
