Tottenham is a school from which youth players are constantly emerging. Some work in their circle... and some do not. Like Alex Pritchard. He showed promise in the youth team, but was only able to play 12 minutes in 2 games for the Spurs first team.
He made his debut on 11 May 2014 in the 3-0 thrashing of Aston Villa on the last day of the Premier League. He came on in the 83rd minute in place of Gylfi Sigurdsson under Tim Sherwood. He did not feature again until 29 August 2015.
After taking a step up with Brentford in 2014-15, he earned his chance again thanks to 12 goals and seven assists in the Championship. Mauricio Pochettino introduced him in the 84th minute of the 0-0 draw with Everton on Matchday 4 in 2015-16.
Twelve minutes in 2 games. This was Alex Pritchard's record with Tottenham. Since then, West Brom, Norwich City, Huddersfield Town, Sunderland, and now Birmingham City. One assist so far this season and aiming to save the silverware in England.
