Stefano Pioli, coach at Milan, believes his team can make something happen, as they attempt to mount a comeback against Inter, who lead them 2-0 after the first leg.
"Inter is a strong team but if we play at a high level, we will make a fight of it (the play-off). We can do it and we know, in this sport, miracles do happen. We believe in those. We'll have to start from a disadvantage but we have the quality to get ourselves a result", declared the coach in the press conference ahead of the clash.
Portugal's Rafael Leao wasn't part of the first leg, but aims to start the second leg. "He's doing well, on Tuesday he trained almost the whole way through with the squad. We hope he'll be back to training. If he's fit, he'll play from the start", Pioli revealed.
The coach won't be able to use Algerian Ismael Bennacer, which means he'll "probably" play "with one more playmaker". "Given the approach to the first leg wasn't good, hopefully Tuesday goes better", he commented.
"We'll have to come out like we did in the second half of the first leg, but we know that won't be enough. We need to elevate our game. The match will be long and we want to start in the best way possible, trying to win duels and making the most of their mistakes, because they'll make them too", he finished.
