Barcelona midfielder Pedri, who suffered a thigh injury in August, completed Thursday's training session and is likely to be fit to return to action in the next La Liga match against Real Sociedad.
The 20-year-old was injured during a training session and has been out for more than two months. His absence has been a headache for coach Xavi Hernandez as the Spaniard is an undisputed starter in the squad.
However, Fermin Lopez has been able to prove his potential due to Pedri's absence through injury. The academy midfielder has performed incredibly well for the Catalan side in recent matches.
Meanwhile, Frenkie de Jong will remain sidelined with an ankle injury as will Sergi Roberto, who will be unavailable to Xavi Hernandez for the next few games.
