Liverpool are going through a bad run this season. The Reds are ninth in the Premier League with just 29 points, 21 behind leaders Arsenal, who still have a game in hand.
Klopp's side's constant stumbles are evident and Thiago Alcantara explained to the 'Daily Mail' why his club are not being as effective as they were last term.
"It's not just about physical aspects. It's something psychological, because we were so close to winning everything and we only came close. In the bad moments, we have to be together as a team," said the Spanish midfielder.
The Merseyside side were looking for the quadruple bid (EFL Cup, FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League). Klopp's side won both cup competitions, while they lost the 'UCL' to Real Madrid and finished second behind Manchester City.
Then, he spoke about what's to come: "We're going game by game to take points that will help us to be as high up as possible. Our objective is the next game. Not to be in the top four or in the Europa League, just the next game.
"There is a long way to go in the season. We are alive in the Champions League and the FA Cup. We're not in the position we want to be in the Premier League, but we're still there and that's good," the midfielder stressed.
