The former England U-21 international has been at the north London club since he was 6 years old, and was one of the most promising talents in the academy a few years ago.
As is the way at big clubs like Arsenal, he spent several spells on loan at clubs including Brentford, Brighton and Hull City.
However, in his 5 years as a professional at his parent club he only made 4 competitive appearances, and never managed to score a goal.
It seemed inevitable he would leave when he was left out of Unai Emery's pre-season squad in July, and has now officially moved away from his boyhood club.
He will now try and resurect his career in the Greek league with club PAOK Salonika for whom he could play in the Champions League, as they are currently awaiting to play FC Basel in the third round qualifying stage.
