Pole Arkadiusa Milik, who is very familiar with the French league thanks to his stint at Marseille, recognised how hard it will be to play against France, and asked for a scooter, as a joke, to stop their striker Kylian Mbappe.
"To defend against him, we'll have to be quick, and have a scooter to catch up with him. It's hard to defend against him one-on-one, he's one of the best in the world, we'll have to work as a team and find solutions together", the current Juventus player said.
He also praised teammate Szczesny, who saved two penalties in the group stage: "We've known what he's worth for a while, so it's not surprising to see it as this level".
Manager Czeslaw Michniewicz also gave his point of view. With regards to the French side, he said: "I've looked for their weak spots and haven't found any. But every side has their moments in games or make mistakes. We'll have to make the most of them and put them under pressure the whole time to force them into making them".
