Man Utd target Schick as Ronaldo's replacement

The possible departure of Cristiano Ronaldo will bring new names to reinforce Manchester United's forward line. This time, according to the Mirror, the Red Devils are interested in Bayer Lerverkusen's striker Patrik Schick. 

The Red Devils' lack of goals has been Erik Ten Hag's side's biggest problem. Rashford was not at his best when it comes to finishing, nor was Jadon Sancho, who has gone unnoticed in these first few games. 

Schick's situation is complicated. He has a contract with Bayer Lerverkusen until 2027 and did not start this season as expected. In addition to Patrik Schick, Manchester United have also targeted Lille's Jonathan David and Olympique Lyon's Moussa Dembele.

All these operations will depend on the departure of Cristiano who, to date, would be unlikely to move from Old Trafford, unless they were willing to let him leave easily, something feasible for Ten Hag given how little he has so far used the Portuguese in his schemes.
