Leicester City once again turned down a new offer for defender Wesley Fofana, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. Chelsea turned down an offer of 70 million pounds.
Chelsea are looking hard for a reliable centre-back to cover that position, which was initially going to be Jules Kounde. Therefore, they are breaking the bank to get hold of Fofana's services.
The team managed by Thomas Tuchel have reportedly planned to give the player an important pay rise once his signing for the Blues is confirmed, the 'Daily Mail' reports.
The Foxes warned Chelsea that they would not let the footballer leave for an amount less than 85 million pounds. Wesley Fofana has still got five years left on his Leicester City contract.
