Juventus' interest in Manuel Locatelli is well known. The Italian footballer was one of the sensations at the Euros, which has seen many top European clubs interested in him.
However, despite Juventus being in pole position to sign him, talks with Sassuolo are slow and dragging on so the club have started to weigh up other options.
'La Gazzetta dello Sport' said that Juventus have Tiemoue Bakayoko as a back up in case they do not reach an agreement with Sassuolo. The Frenchman played last season for Napoli so he knows Serie A well.
He does not seem to be able to get into the Chelsea midfield. If we add to that to his loan spells, it should be a very easy signing.
