Sheffield United were quite happy with the performances of Phil Jagielka and Jack Rodwell during the 2019-20 season.
Both players became free agents after the final game of the season, so they were without a club until this Sunday. But they will not be moving anywhere. Sheffield United announced this Sunday that the two footballers have extended their contracts for another season.
"Phil is a valuable and respected member of the squad and I'm delighted to keep him in the building for next season," manager Chris Wilder said.
Wilder also talked about Rodwell: "The same applies with Jack, who offered us versatility and gave us options within the group during the second-half of last term."
