Gianluca Zambrotta, current Delhi Dynamos coach, is trying to convince Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave Europe and change his live radically. He wants him to give it a try in India.
"He's an icon in India and I believe he wants to come here in order to end his career. I will try to convince him to join my team," said the ex-Italian player in an interview with 'Indian Express'.
Zambrotta said his friend's stay in India won't be like going on holidays: "The players have to train every day very hard. Even if there are no games. It's important that the team works in order to attack and defend".
He believes India's league will become very important in the future and he continued: "Given the level of competitiveness in the Indian Super League and the quality of Indian players, I am sure it will be amongst the top five football leagues of the world in the next decade".
