Barcelona striker Ferran Torres said on Wednesday that he wants to "make the most of his opportunities" because "it's very difficult to play for Barca", after scoring the only goal in the 1-0 win over Porto in the second match of the Champions League group stage at the Estadio Do Dragao.
The Valencian attacker replaced the injured Lewandowski in the 34th minute and, on the stroke of half-time, gave the 'Cules' the upper lead by rolling home a low strike under Diogo Costa.
"We knew that more than half of the qualification was at stake here. It was a win that we had to get no matter what," Torres told the 'Movistar Liga de Campeones' microphones.
He said that the team showed "to be good with and without the ball" and that, despite "not having been able to offset Porto's high pressing", the team coached by Xavi Hernandez knew how to "take advantage of their opponents' mistakes".
