Heracles have paid the price for upsetting their fans this Sunday. In the first match for the Dutch side in the league against Heerenveen, the referee was forced to stop the match.
The reason? Plenty of eggs were thrown by their own fans in the stadium which ended up with a white chicken on the pitch.

Due to the difficulty of being able to catch the chicken, the game had to be stopped for various minutes, as well as the need to remove the eggs which were all over the pitch.

But all of this has an explanation: last month, Heracles decided to change the name of their stadium from Polman Stadion to Erve Asito, a cleaning company which sponsors the club. The fans are not happy and decided to protest in this peculiar manner.
