Manager Manuel Pellegrini hasn't been able to rely on Andrés Guardado for the past three game weeks in LaLiga Santander due to an injury for the Mexican.
The player was injured in a game against the b-team before the start of the league campaign, but this Sunday he has been able to put a smile on the face of the Betis head coach.
Guardado has been training with the squad, progress that means he could return and make the squad for the game against Getafe that takes place in midweek.
Still out though is Claudio Bravo, as the goalkeeper is still recovering from the ligament strain in his knee.
