The Premier League race is a tight one this season, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal battling it out to lift the trophy for the 2023/24 campaign. The Reds are in first place on 70 points but have the Gunners hot on their heels in second on 68 points.
Meanwhile, the Sky Blues sit in third place just one point behind Mikel Arteta's men on 67 points. There are only seven games left this term but football legends and fans alike already have their favourites.
"On paper, I think Man City have got the easier run-in and experience is going to play a big part. Liverpool have three away games against teams that you wouldn't say are big teams [Fulham, Everton and West Ham] but three away games [in a row] are difficult. Aston Villa away as well and obviously Manchester United away at the weekend," Rio Ferdinand told 'TNT Sports'.
However, the United legend admitted he would like the English top-flight title to be won by Arsenal: "Arsenal have the toughest run-in and Man City… I’ve said this from the beginning of the season and I’ll continue to say this now [they are favourites]. I don’t want them to win it, I’ve got to be honest.
"I’d take Arsenal winning it right now. Over Liverpool and Man City, 100 per cent. It’s not a difficult one for me," he joked.
