Alex Collado is not going through his best moment. The player was not registered as a Barca player after two attempts to loan him out this summer failed.
Barcelona got down to work to solve the problem as soon as possible. They have asked the Spanish FA (RFEF) to register him.
Collado has had such a bad time of it in these last few months that, according to 'Sport', the right winger thought about quitting football despite being only 22.
The situation was too much for Collado. He was without a club, he could not play for Barcelona as he had not been registered and that let to him thinking of leaving the game, the Catalan newspaper said.
Joan Laporta was fully aware of how Collado was feeling and he decided to take action. He called him and told Collado that he would talk to LaLiga to try and solve the issue as soon as possible.
Ramon Planes, Barcelona's technical secretary, recently spoke about the footballer's situation: It's in our interest that he can play, he's a member of the club. His situation is a complex one, but we're working now to resolve it."
