Southampton and Manchester City came to an agreement last summer for youngster Romeo Lavia. He was a 19 year old midfielder who's considered to be a gem by the Citizens, and was sold for €10 million.
The Manchester side, however, included a clause to re-buy him if he performed well in the Premier League, and that's what's happened. Therefore, 'Football Insider' have reported that the Sky Blues are considering carrying out said operatioin.
Selles' Southampton are starting to rise a comeback thanks to Lavia's good performances, as well as other reasons. As for City, they're prepared to take a chance on their academy graduate. It's still not known how much the re-buy would cost.
It's worth remembering that Soton already rejected an offer in the final stages of the January transfer window for €60 million from Chelsea for the ex-City youngster.
