Burnley have emerged as another club willing to hand Gary Cahill more Premier League opportunites. Cahill bid an emotional farewell to Chelsea, coming on as a substitute in the last home Premier League match of the season.
He is now available as a free agent and despite Maurizio Sarri not playing the former English centre half, Cahill maintained his fitness levels, and is still only 33 years of age.
Sean Dyche is not afraid to add experience to his squad either, having signed Peter Crouch in January and potentially offering the 38 year old forward another year of Premier League football.
James Tarkowski has also emerged as a major transfer target for several Premier League clubs, with Ben Gibson not performing at the desired level since his transfer from Middlesborough.
Cahill will no doubt have other offers in the Premier League, with a 33 year old defender with 61 England caps likely to attract a lot of attention, especially when he is a free agent.
