Borussia Dortmund lost Erling Haaland this summer and it looks like another of their stars could follow in the Norwegian's footsteps. Jude Bellingham will mark the summer of 2023.
Of all the clubs targeting him, the midfielder's favourite is Real Madrid. Birmingham striker Troy Deeney believes it is also the team that would best suit his game.
"Bellingham should reject Liverpool and be Madrid's superstar," he said in 'The Sun'. For Deeney, the 'Merengues' should be his choice if he wants to succeed.
Deeney believes that, if Madrid work in the right way, they can sign the player from Borussia without any problems: "I don't see a transfer to Liverpool. Maybe he would play there and it could work, but I have the feeling that Spanish football would suit him better. If Madrid join the race, I don't think he would reject it.
The Birmingham player believes that, in any case, Bellingham will make the right decision. "His family are very methodical. They will sit down, think about the pros and cons of every move. Jude will have already decided," he said.
