Benoit Badiashile, Monaco's centre-back, is one of the biggest names on the transfer market. The centre-back has been a key player for Monaco this season and is set to be one of the most promising players in the coming years. That's why big La Liga clubs are after him, among them, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.
According to 'Estadio Deportivo', Julen Lopetegui's side are focused on reinforcing their backline as soon as possible and the young Frenchman could be a natural replacement for Jules Kounde, who is close to leaving the club.
'RMC Sports' also claimed that the Andalusian club are close to making an offer to the French club, although the source did not give details of the figures that could be considered. The Spanish side do have competition, however, as clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Premier League giants Chelsea and United are reportedly on the centre-back's trail.
Badiashile has a contract with Monaco until 30th June 2024, so moving him from the Principality will be no easy task and will involve a significant financial effort. Moreover, the club is already used to receiving large sums of money for its players, as was the case with Aurelien Tchouameni.
