According to 'Sky Sports', Aston Villa will be open to listening to offers for their forward, Danny Ings, should the club sign another player in his position this summer. Ings only joined the Villains last year after making the move from Southampton.
The player's performances last season is the reason why the club are prepared to let him go so soon. He only managed to score seven goals in his 31 appearances in all competitions for Villa in the last campaign.
Moreover, '90min' reports that Steven Gerrard wants to bring in at least one new forward in this transfer window. This would therefore push Ings further down the list of strikers at the club, with Ollie Watkins currently occupying the first choice position.
Should Gerrard get what he wants, Aston Villa will listen to offers for Ings. He is a player who will attract attention as he is a Premier League proven player. His ex clubs of Southampton and Bournemouth are keeping tabs on his situation, while Brighton are also sniffing around the 29 year old.
