Arsenal moved up to second as Mikel Arteta's men eased to victory at Bournemouth. Bukayo Saka had been an injury doubt, but headed into an empty net to open the scoring on his 87th consecutive Premier League appearance.
However, it wasn't all good news for the Gunners. The 22-year-old had to be replaced by Fabio Vieira in the 76th minute after limping and being treated by a doctor.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta spoke about the English striker and his injury at the post-match press conference and said that Saka received "a bad knock".
"It was a pretty bad knock. I don't know how he's feeling now, I haven't had chance to speak to him. But hopefully we can get him back. I think it was a stamp in the same area but Gabi was limping as well after the game so let's see how they are," he told reporters.
Saka is a key player in Arteta's squad and his speedy recovery is Arsenal's priority as they will need him for the Champions League group game against Lens.
