Saudi Arabia are trying to change football in their country radically and want to tempt several European football stars to gain fame. Cristiano Ronaldo was the first to join Al Nassr and Karim Benzema has followed in his footsteps.
Saudi league clubs want players such as Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Lionel Messi, among others. The Argentinian star received an offer of 500 million euros per year from Al Hilal.
However, the former Paris Saint-Germain striker decided to join Inter Miami and will play in the MLS next season. As a result, the Saudi club are still looking for reinforcements for their squad.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, they are keeping an eye on Chelsea centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. The defender arrived at Stamford Bridge just a year ago from Napoli but has failed to stand out at the English side.
