Abel Ruiz and Marquez in fight to replace Suarez

Barcelona are back in La Liga action and they host Granada in Quique Setien's first game in charge. Luis Suarez will of course miss the fixture. 

The Uruguayan striker will be out for four months after being operated on a meniscus problem in his right knee, which will make the Catalan side look for a quality replacement. 

Therefore, one of the first things the ex-Betis manager would have to do is look for a good player to accompany Leo Messi and Antoine Griezmann in attack. 

Therefore, this Thursday, Setien has wanted to try two Barca B strikers in training, Abel Ruiz and Alejandro Marques, so they could be one of the big changes in Setien's first squad. 

Abel Ruiz has scored three times in 17 matches this season. The goalscorer can also play on the flank and he is missing out on a bit of game time until Garcia Pimienta. In addition, he knows what it is like to train with the first team since he has completed several summer tours together with Messi and company. 

Marques has yet to score although he has started just four of the 11 matches which he has played in. Despite being considered one of the club's great young talents, his Barca contract ends this summer and there is still no agreement to renew it.
