Zaragoza and Real Madrid meet again after 2004 final

With the new Copa de Rey format, the tournament has become much more exciting. The smaller clubs play against the big teams and they are guaranteed to host them. That gives them the opportunity to shine at home. 

There was lots of interest to know who Zidane's men would get. In the last match, their first in the competition this season, they had to beat a Unionistas side who made it difficult them. 

Real Madrid's opponents are Zaragoza, who they met in the 2004 final and in fact, Zaragoza ended up winning. They knocked out Mallorca in the previous round of this year's tournament so they have already knocked out a La Liga side. 

The two Segunda B sides avoided the big guns. Real Madrid could have faced one of Badajoz and Cultural Leonesa, but they ended up being paired with Victor Fernandez's men.
