The game against Swansea was a disaster for the London side, as they were smashed 4-1, dropping below Carlos Carvahal's team in the league table. However, they were dealt a double blow with the loss of Winston Reid, who was forced to leave the pitch after being knocked unconscious.
It was Reid's first game back after two months out, but after picking up a fresh injury to his knee during the game, the defender is expected to miss the rest of the season. Furthermore, the player that replaced Reid after he came off, Sam Byram, may also be out for the season.
The defender came on in the 27th minute to replace Reid, but picked up an ankle problem, which might mean he is also sidelined for the rest of West Ham's games this season.
West Ham have nine Premier League games remaining, and face a big fight to stay in the Premier League, especially with these fresh injury concerns.
David Moyes' next challenge is to pick up points on Saturday, when his side face Burnley at home.
