Willian José signs for Wolves

The deal is now official. Willian José has left Spanish football after seven and a half seasons, a time where he played for Real Madrid, Zaragoza, Las Palmas and Real Sociedad.

The Basque side reached an agreement with Wolves and both teams have confirmed the news with two official statements at the same time. The striker has moved to the Premier League.

Willian José arrives at English football, where he has never played, on loan with the option to continue if Wolves activate the option to buy at the end of the season.

The Brazilian footballer leaves Real Sociedad with 6 goals and an assist this season, as the news of his possible exit broke on Wednesday with the Copa del Rey match against Córdoba.

Willian José said goodbye in style in a somewhat watered-down match, but in which the striker was able to say goodbye as he knows how, as he led Real into the last 16 with a brace.
