Why Zidane insists on signing Pogba

Zidane has given into the speculation about Pogba's future as a Real Madrid player. In a press conference, he defined him as "a different player" who knows how to do everything on the field. Spanish media outlet 'Marca' went a step further by revealing some of the conditions that make 'Zizou' want the World Cup winner at all costs. 

Primarily, he values his leadership, both on and off the pitch. Undoubtedly, Pogba is a player with a lot of personality, a team player who assumes responsibility for fouls and penalties. 

But outside the pitch, he also a leader; as he showed during the World Cup when he was seen managing France's complicated dressing room. The French national team won the title in Russia for their merits on the pitch, but the great atmosphere in the dressing room was the result of Pogba's constant presence in the pep talks and jokes which helped the team's cohesion. 

Though sometimes intermittent, the Manchester United player's quality is also beyond doubt, as is his tremendous physical display. The Frenchman is a footballer with the ability to both destroy and build, a profile that suits Real Madrid very well in their midfield.
