West Ham make Soucek's move permanent

West Ham have announced this Friday that Tomas Soucek will be continuing at the club. The East London outfit have bought the midfielder who arrived in January from Slavia Prague.

Soucek, 25, has been an important part of the team since joining on loan. He helped them stay up with one game to go under David Moyes, who replaced Manuel Pellegrini. 

The footballer's new contract links him with West Ham until summer 2024. During this half a season, the midfielder has played 12 matches, 11 of them as a starter and scored three goals. 

"Tomas is a spectacular guy with very good physical capabilities. He has scored important goals for us against Chelsea, Newcastle and Watford," David Moyes said on hearing the news.
