West Ham have two new rivals in fight for Maitland-Niles

It does not look like Ainsley Maitland-Niles will be short of offer in the last few days of the transfer window in order to find a team. Arsenal said he was for sale back in July. 

According to 'Talksport', Bournemouth and Southampton have joined the fight to sign the English defender. The Saints have got James Garner as a second option. 

West Ham were already interested in signing the right-back. The Hammers had the option to complete the deal. However, their indecision has left the door open to other doors to make completing the signing more difficult. 

The Englishman was on loan at Jose Mourinho's Roma last term. The option of another loan deal is not on the table as his contract expires in June 2023 and they do not want to lose him on a free.
