38-year-old McAuley had spent seven years at the club since joining from Ipswich back in 2018, however, despite making 227 appearances for the 'Baggies', the club opted against extending his stay for a further year.
Yacob meanwhile ends his six-year stay at the club, having made 175 appearances, with the 30-year-old now expected to secure a move to his native Argentina.
Curiously, Myhill was by far the longest-serving of the three players, having joined from Hull in 2010, but he went on to make just 82 appearances in eight years at the Hawthorns.
Despite the trio leaving the club, manager Darren Moore took to the club's official website to thank them for their sevice and wish them well.
"I would like to personally thank all three players for their loyal service to this football club and I wish them well in their respective futures," he said.
"They have been absolute stalwarts of this club and they should all be proud of their time here.
"It was a very difficult decision not to offer each of them a new contract and I did not take that decision lightly.
"It was, however, a decision I felt was in the best interests of the football club."
Former Middlesbrough midfielder James Morrison, who is also out of contract this summer and has been linked with a return to his former side, will return to the club for pre-season training on Monday as he looks to prove his fitness.
"James has been training tirelessly throughout the summer and will join the first team next week," Moore added.
"He has been frustrated by an Achilles injury for some time now but he is beginning to benefit from the endless hard work he has put in behind the scenes.
"We will be monitoring him in the coming weeks and we hope his improving fitness will result in game time in our pre-season fixtures."
