Piers Morgan was the journalist who interviewed Cristiano Ronaldo before he left Manchester United. The journalist has once again criticised the English club, calling Erik ten Hag "arrogant" and taking a dig at new signing Wout Weghorst.

Cristiano Ronaldo decided to sign for Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United due to his controversial interview with Piers Morgan. The Portuguese footballer said that he felt betrayed by United and emphasised that he does not respect Erik ten Hag.

The journalist has once again criticised the English team and the Dutch coach after their defeat against Arsenal: "Congrats, Manchester United - that’s what happens when you hire an arrogant coach who disrespects the GOAT so badly he leaves.

"And then replaces him with someone I’ve never heard of who sounds like an Austrian sausage. #Weghorst," he wrote.

These comments show that Piers Morgan has always supported Cristiano Ronaldo, who now plays in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr.
