"There are bad patches but these types of players recover rapidly. We aim to continue this poor run of theirs and ensure that they endure it for at least one more week, but we do not discuss it in the dressing room because we know they are great players and we have plenty of respect for them", said Postigo in an interview with Levante's club TV channel.
"We go there certain of putting in a good performance and giving them problems and why not try to take all three points. We have always shown whenever we have played against them that we can play well, and we are more than capable of repeating that at the weekend", he added.
The Levante defender, who started both draws with Real Madrid last season, confessed that the build up to playing the current Champions League holders is always a little special.
He explained "It always feels special when you go to these grounds which you have wanted to play at since you were young, but we are also aware of the difficulty of playing these types of teams."
Postigo also said that Levante arrive to this contest "in a good a very good mindset and on an upward trajectory" and highlighted the topsy turvy nature of La Liga this season.
"It is much more positive and attractive league, where any team can beat any team. It is all super tight. It is good for us that, winning two games could see us shoot way further up the table. The fact that the league is like this is beneficial for all of us", he concluded.
