Borja Iglesias will be one of Luis de la Fuente's '9' against Norway and Scotland. The Galician player is also known for his commitment to social causes away from the pitch and his fight against homophobia.

The Real Betis striker spoke to 'El Periodico de Espana', where he praised the step forward taken by the society: "I think the society has taken many steps forward. The situations that make the most noise are the opposite, but in part it's not bad, because it encourages us a little to continue growing. It will happen, I think it will happen. In LaLiga, we will see a player reveal his homosexuality".

Borja Iglesias will replace Gerard Moreno in the Spanish national team: "There is no perfect solution for anything. There are life situations that have given us a lot of strength. The truth is that we are very happy to be able to contribute another vision and add another part of football. It's important to go through the stages".
