Robert Lewandowski, who is in training with Poland in the run-up to the start of the Nations League, expressed his satisfaction with Barcelona's start and the current moment in his career, while being aware that, "due to age, there are moments that will never come again".
"We started well. Sometimes we stumble and sometimes we get it right, but the season is long. A lot can still happen," said the Polish player.
The recent announcement of compatriot Wojciech Szczesny's retirement from competition prompted Lewandowski to show his more philosophical side, saying he has "changed his attitude to life and sport" and to "approach things differently to enjoy certain things without regret one day".
The 36-year-old was reluctant to look back on his role at Euro 2024, where they failed to make it past the first round, and said he was "focused on the upcoming games against Scotland and Croatia".
