"We don't need to give Guler advice, he'll succeed at Madrid"

Arda Guler is one of Real Madrid's new signings. The youngster joined the Spanish side in the summer transfer window. The midfielder will play in a Madrid shirt next season despite Barcelona's interest in his transfer.

In his homeland the 18-year-old has already been compared to Mesut Ozil, who played for Carlo Ancelotti's side for four seasons. He has also been compared to his compatriot Nuri Sahin, who currently coaches Antalyaspor in the Turkish league.

The former Real Madrid midfielder was asked about Guler's move to La Liga: "We don't need to give him advice. I saw his press conference and his first training session. He is a great person, may God guide his path.

"We are proud that he has made it that far. He is a great talent. I'm sure he will succeed at Madrid. He will now play for the biggest club in the world. Not everyone has the opportunity to wear that shirt. Thank God I was able to play for Madrid too."
