WBA want to the keep young talent which Barcelona fancy

Barry turned 16 this Friday, the minimum age you can be offered a contract by a professional team according to UEFA regulations. Therefore, the English side want to make sure they can count on their young talent, according to 'Sky Sports'. 

At 15, he has played both for Ireland and England at youth level so he could play for either of the two at senior level. 

According to 'Sky Sports', Barcelona have met with the player and his inner circle on two occasions when he took part in a youth tournament in Italy last year, which provoked the first movements at WBA. 

By offering him a three year contract, West Bromwich Albion want to assure that one of the country's most promising talents remains theirs.
