West Brom have reportedly rejected a £1million bid from Watford for their starting goalkeeper, Ben Foster.
The 35-year-old, who has refused to attend the club's pre-season camp, is due to be disciplined alongside defender Craig Dawson.
Foster voiced his wish to leave after they were relegated from the Premier League, but the club have taken up a hardline stance on potential offers.
Watford's £1m bid for the keeper has been regarded as a lowball offer, with Albion expecting a much higher fee for one of their key players.
Despite the relegation, Foster was one of the more consistent players on the team, and his contract does not run out until 2019.
Foster's decision to not attend Albion's pre-season has come as a shock to many, after he vocally pledged himself to the club in April, saying: "I've got no interest in trying to move clubs. I'm very settled and I'm sure there are quite a few others who would love to stay and help us get back to the Premier League."
