Vitor Roque was Betis' top priority, says sporting director

Real Betis started last season with Borja Iglesias and Willian Jose as forwards and this season they have Vitor Roque and Bakambu, two players with very different characteristics.

On the arrival of the Brazilian, Fajardo confirmed that he was the number one choice of the board and the coach Manuel Pellegrini: "We have lost players who are more upright but we are a more vertical Betis as we have seen in these first few games. We are a more solid and aggressive Betis.

"Vitor has always been the number one option for us. And for Manuel. Vitor's arrival is a reason for everyone to be happy.
