Vidic enjoyed Anfield clashes

The Serbian defender made 300 appearances for Manchester United over eight seasons at the club, and always relished the games in Merseyside.

In fact, Vidic was sent off four times in matches against Liverpool throughout his Premier League career. 

Speaking to 'beIN Sports', the 37-year-old remarked: "To go away to play there, at Anfield, as a Man United player, I think it's the most difficult place.

"Their fans are on top of you, they're very close to the pitch so it's difficult.

"I loved it. That's why I got two red cards there! I enjoyed it too much!"
